Please note that you are knowingly and willingly consent to have hair services during the Covid-19 pandemic.

As you know, the COVID-19 virus has up to 14 days incubation period during which carriers of the virus may not show symptoms and still be highly contagious.

Therefore, you must understand that due to the frequency of visits of other clients, the characteristics of the virus, and the nature of hair services, you would have an elevated risk of contracting the virus simply by using the common area and the salon. 

During this time, Hair by Gelareh Salon takes additional precaution by increasing its cleaning protocols. Nonetheless, the salon and the owner are not liable to any exposure that may happen during the course of the visit.

Please be cautious, and in case of showing any symptoms, please let me know in advance so that we can reschedule the appointment. 

• Cancellations & Rescheduling: Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations will be charged the full appointment price.
• Clients are kindly requested to reschedule appointments if they or a family member is feeling unwell.
• Please note that a 100% charge will be applied for appointments attended while sick.
• Booking Confirmation: Appointments will now be confirmed through Square. You must enter your information to secure your desired time.

• Debit/credit card payments incur a 3.5% + $0.30 processing fee. (Additional service taxes may apply if implemented.)
  • A 5% discount is available for cash payments.
  • Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Venmo, Apple Cash. (PayPal is no longer accepted.)

• Transparency and fairness are emphasized, with service prices remaining unchanged.
• Exciting news! The salon has recently introduced the new Wella color line from Germany to elevate the salon experience.
• For specialized color requests or allergy considerations, there's a $20 per tube upcharge for Inoa color, payable directly to the stylist.

• Enhancing the client's visit is a priority. Clients can enjoy a complimentary day pass with appointments totaling $75 or more.
• Daycare services are available for clients' convenience, subject to availability.

• For both new and existing clients, you are expected to explain all your wants and needs in detail so that we both have a mutual understanding of what style and color you desire. 
• In the event that you are not fully satisfied with the outcome of the service, I would be more than happy to make any changes required for free within 48 hours after our appointment. If I am notified beyond the 48-hr threshold, I will make the corrections at an extra charge. 

• Please note that all the hair dyes are oil-based and ammonia-free; therefore, for the best hair coloring result, it is recommended for you to show up with freshly washed and dried hair. Failure to do so may result in not getting perfect coverage or result. Any further color correction will be made for an additional cost.

• When you book a color root touchup with me, I always ensure to refresh the mid-shafts and ends as well. This approach helps maintain consistent color and prevents any noticeable fade between services. Please note that if additional color, such as a glaze or pull-through, is required, you will be responsible for the cost of the extra color used.

• Each individual's hair presents unique characteristics, and color correction can vary accordingly. Achieving the desired look may involve multiple sessions, considering factors such as hair condition, texture, and previous chemical treatments. It's important to be aware that the results may also be influenced by factors such as pregnancy, hormonal changes, and medication.

• I strive to provide exceptional results while considering these aspects, ensuring your satisfaction with the outcome. During a consultation, we can discuss your expectations and devise a plan that best suits your hair and desired look.
